“Are you sure?” He smiled. He just wanted everything to be perfect between them. James smiled and looked at her. “Oh? I think I am lucky. I get to wake up to a gorgeous girl like you.” James smiled even more. “And that’s all I can ask for. So yes, I’m the luckiest guy.” Then he watched as she as she took a bite. “So what do you think?” He questioned. He wanted to hear her approval. He just wanted to be good for her. That’s all he.
“Oh? What’d you dream? About me kissing you?” He questioned her. He would love to kiss her over and over again. Her lips were so soft. He would do anything to kiss her every day and not go on tour. However, it was in his job description so he had to. “Thanks, darling.” He smiled and then opened it. He took a long sip, relishing in the refreshing. “So what would you like to talk about?”
James quite unsure what to talk about. It was weird, being at a loss of words for once. Maybe it was because he always talked to her about everything. He knew the good and the bad about her. He took another bite and then took another sip. “Would you like to go for a walk after this?” He questioned. He just wanted it to be relaxing for them. That’s all.
“I am.” She flashed him a smile. He really was a sweetheart. No matter what. He always wanted to make sure everything was perfect for her. He was perfect for her. At least that was how she saw him. He really was. With what he said next, that however caused her cheeks to flush as she looked at him. He was a smooth bastard sometimes too. Okay, well, almost all the time but still. She loved it. The way he always made her blush with a few choice words. He was so good at it. “That was cute.” She giggled a little, her smile still on her lips as she spoke. He was cute. “Yeah, it’s really good.” She nodded, taking another bite. It tasted amazing. He was such an amazing cook. She loved it when he would cook food and allow her to try it or cook for her.
Ashe couldn’t help but laugh as she shook her head, her brown eyes connecting to his hazel ones. They shone in the light that was coming from her dining room light. Really, his eyes were gorgeous in any type of lighting but mostly in the sunlight and the moonlight. When those two light sources hit them, she couldn’t not look away from his eyes. “Actually, no. I dreamt of you holding me.” She blushed a little. Truth be told, she wouldn’t have minded dreaming of kissing him over and over again either. Both dreams were and would have been nice. She liked the feeling of his arms around her but she also like the feeling of his lips against hers. It was like being kissed by an angel. He was her angel. “Welcome, darling.” She opened her own bottle, taking a long drink. “You could tell me more stories.” Slowly, her smile turning into a small smirk.
She wanted to hear more stories about his past. Learn the things she didn’t already know about him. She loved hearing more about him. It was nice and different. She also loved being able to just talk to him about anything and when neither of them wanted to talk, the silence was never uncomfortable. It was always welcoming and comforting. They could just look at each other and smile and not say a word and completely understand each other. It was nice. She took another bite, smiling at the taste of it on her tongue. Really, it tasted amazing. He was such a good cook. “I’d like that, a lot.” She smiled at him again. It was true, walking with him was always fun.

Just a list of things I’d do if I could fly, oh I would fly straight to the moon,
To bring the sands back here to you and we’d make castles where we’d spend our days,
And rooms that last eternities and perfect cracks get fixed with ease.
And if it falls apart faster then we had planned, we’ll plan for something else,
Doesn’t matter if it’s raining or it’s dark, you’ll be my something else.
The only else cared for, you are.
I remember the times we spent together all those drives,
We had a million questions all about our lives,
And when we got to New York everything felt right,
I wish you were here with me, tonight.
I remember the days we spent together,
Were not enough, it used to feel like dreaming
Except we always woke up, never thought not having you here
now would hurt so much.
Tonight I’ve fallen and I can’t get up, I need your loving hands to
Come and pick me up, and every night I miss you I can just look up
And know the stars are holding you, holding you, holding you tonight.
Went outside and saw the moon and it made me think of you.
Then the rain it came and came there you were inside my brain.
I’ve been thinking of you, I’ve been thinking of you.
Drive there in my car, I hear the radio, play that dylan song,
The times that you were dreaming, but you still haven’t changed your mind
So I sang and sang along. I was singing along.
Do you ever feel like you’re dying?
Got the same dream on repeat it’s like a song you can’t rewind,
And though you try it only makes you see.
These are the cords that you have chosen, this is your favorite melody
And even though you’re all alone I’ve got a way of changing everything.
So go it alone or stand by your side at least you can say I tried
To throw it all away or keep you locked inside.
When you’re standing in the rain and you see me standing by you,
When nothing goes your way, you feel me right behind you.
I will take away your pain, you know I’ll make it better
When I sing to you.
You say your heart don’t beat without me am I making sense to you?
I wish I could, you know I would, but it’s a major minor kind of tune.
Girl I’d steal the Mona Lisa,
But I know I wouldn’t keep her.
‘Cause I wake up next to you everyday.
I’d buy the Taj Mahal and never visit it at all.
If that’s the only price I gotta pay.
‘Cause I’ve never loved anything like I love you.
I’d go and catch the moon, then I’d drag it down to you,
But I know that you’d be brighter anyway.
I’d walk the whole Great Wall, and ever brick I’d count them all.
Then I’d start over the next day.
James smiled as he continued to cook the meat on the stove. He turned his attention towards the pasta and smiled as it looked perfect. He did a little taste test, finding it perfect to eat. James pulled out the strainer, put it in the sink, and then poured out the water. He shook the strainer and then put it aside. He would wait to dump it into the skillet once it was pretty much cooked already. It didn’t take much longer either. He smiled as he looked up to hear her footsteps and to see her smile. “Hey, there beautiful. Well you woke up right on time. Let’s eat.” He smiled.
He grabbed the plates for them, setting it down on the table. “I would have had everything perfect if you hadn’t woken up. I was imagining you being all surprised.” He laughed and then rubbed his head. He walked over, grabbing her hand and leading her towards the food. He kissed her forehead. “I hope your nap was great love. If you want to feed me, you can.” He winked at her.
James sat down across from her, helping himself to a plate. Mmm..he always loved cooking. It was something he loved to do. His mom taught him when he was younger and since then he’d been cooking anything he could. “So what’d you dream about? Me?” A cocky smirk was on his face as he said that line. He took another bite. “Do you want to grab the mountain dew?” He chuckled, knowing that it was indeed her favorite drink in the world.
Ashe still knew she was tired. She still felt that sleep in her body but she was going to fight it now until he was asleep with her. Sure, she liked waking up to the amazing smells that were coming from her kitchen but she wanted to savor all the time they had together and with him leaving to go back to tour tomorrow, that time was limited and she hated that thought. She let out a slight sigh as she walked to the kitchen, smiling at him. He was adorable when he cooked. She always thought that. He was always focused and it was extremely adorable. She couldn’t get over it. “I have a habit of doing that.” She paused, laughing as she looked at him, a small smirk playing on her lips. “Kay.” She didn’t realize how hungry she was until now.
She smiled, watching him. She wanted to help but she knew that he had everything. She really was surprised. She wasn’t expecting this at all. It made her smile more than anything had. He really was that perfect boy that every girl wanted. “I am surprised. This is perfect. Thank you.” She smiled more at him, squeezing his hand as she laced their fingers together, following him to the table. Her smile only grew when he kissed her forehead. She was glad this was what she woke up to. She knew she was going to miss him so much tomorrow when he left her. “It was.” She giggled a little. Her nap really was nice. Despite the fact it made her even more tired than what she was before. “Only if you’re lucky.” She laughed.
She smiled, sitting down and grabbing a plate. This all looked amazing and she couldn’t wait to dig in. It was nice, being able to be herself around him and not care if she wasn’t ‘cute’ or whatever. She didn’t need to catch his attention when she knew she already had it. That was what was great about him. Once you had his attention the way she did, you never lost it. She took a bite, smiling. It was really good. She was glad that he was an amazing cook. She couldn’t cook to save her life. Well, she could cook really easy meals bu that was it. “Actually, I did.” She smirked, sticking her tongue out at him. She did dream of him. She dreamed of being in his arms as she slept and him never leaving her. It was a nice dream. “Of course, love.” She smiled, standing up and walking to the kitchen, grabbing two bottles of mountain dew from her fridge before returning, setting one next to him before sitting back down with her own. “Here we are.” She giggled, taking another bite of food.
